Uttarakhand Foundation Day

We wish you all a very happy Uttarakhand Foundation Day. Uttarakhand Foundation Day, or Uttarakhand Day or Uttarakhand Diwas, is celebrated on November 9 every year to mark the formation of the state of Uttaranchal in 2000. The state’s name was changed to Uttarakhand in 2007.The state is known as the Land of Gods or “Dev Bhumi”. Four pilgrimage sites- Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath – referred to as Chota Char Dham, are located in Uttarakhand.
